Ramdas Padhye has performed more than 9000 shows in India and abroad and contributed for the spread of this art of ventriloquism and for its acceptance as an effective medium for the propagation of various social messages.



1. RAMDAS PADHYE SHOW : Specially created and regularly updated variety entertainment show presented and compered by some of his well known vent characters and best of the variety entertainment talents in India. A show is unique presentation of ventriloquial & other puppets by Ramdas & his wife Aparna.The ventriloquial puppets with their rib-tickling humor will entertain the audiences of all age groups.The other type of puppets, muppets or marionettes, are used with background musical score & presented in a different & offbeat manner. 2. GOOD NIGHT BABY DINO : In this two hour long play, Ramdas Padhye and Aparna Ramdas present onstage, 100 different puppets including three huge dinosaurs and an underwater sequence with puppets. This show with special sound and light effects is being presented all over India since December 1995.This play is written & directed by well-known ad-man Mr. Bharat Dabholkar, music Louis Banks and produced by Jayant Gandhi.

3. HATS OFF : AN IMPOSSIBLE WORLD OF HI-TECH PUPPETS:

Indian Politician in a dream sequence.

"HATS OFF" , the latest creation of Ramdas Padhye and Aparna Ramdas is presented with the assistance of 20 skilled operators and his sons Satyajit & Parikshit Padhye, which is acclaimed in India as "Experience beyond belief in the world of Puppetry".

This highly entertaining presentation is confluence of exotic and internationally acclaimed stage techniques such as Japanese Bunraku, Chinese Double controlled marionettes, half body humanettes, French Blacklight Theatre and modern vent puppets.

Ramdas Padhye and Aparna Ramdas have skillfully blended the essence of these art forms and techniques to bring alive on stage almost every object.

EVOLUTION OF NATURE from HATS OFF

The scintillating background musical score and the theme songs of this presentation leave the audience foot tapping and enjoying all the more gleefully. The stage revue is certainly the only of its kind presented on Indian stage ever and perhaps in the international stage entertainment.
